Football Queensland have announced that leading sports manufacturers Nike will continue to be the sponsors of the official ball for Queensland competitions as part of FQ’s ongoing partnership with Ultra Football.
The agreement between FQ and Australia’s biggest and best football store comes after a successful first season which saw Nike footballs delivered to every single club in Queensland.
Ultra Football’s commitment to aiding Football Queensland’s initiative to give every young footballer in the state a chance to play the world game reflected the strength of the partnership,
Football Queensland President Ben Richardson outlined Nike would continue to be the official competition ball for the NPL Queensland and the FQPL, as well as all community competitions across the state.
“We have received a significant amount of positive feedback about this partnership and are delighted to confirm our commitment to Ultra Football,” Richardson said.
“As we connect competitions throughout Queensland in 2022, it is important that we have consistency throughout the state.
“The partnership will continue to provide a range of high-quality Nike footballs and benefits to all clubs from the NPL and FQPL to the grassroots.”
Ultra Football General Manager Matthew Adams was delighted to continue the ambitious and community-focused partnership with Football Queensland.
“We are well prepared, with high stock levels and an established online portal to seamlessly assist clubs with their requirements ahead of next year,” Adams said.
“We’re pleased to confirm that all Queensland clubs will once again receive Nike footballs free of charge and receive a discount on bulk purchases through the online portal.”
