Football Queensland’s official modular partner, Ausco Modular, have launched an in-depth and informative sporting facilities guide for football in the state.
The guide aligns with the governing body’s infrastructure plans and adds to the selection of facilities guides available on Football Queensland’s facilities hub.
“Infrastructure is a key pillar within Football Queensland’s Strategic Plan and that is why we released the Strategic Infrastructure Plan in September, to drive and guide progress towards identified priorities for Queensland clubs and the entire Queensland football community,” FQ President Ben Richardson said.
“As we established in the Strategic Plan, Football Queensland is focused on developing female-friendly facilities across the state along with participation initiatives and pathways for women and girls to support the growth of the women’s game.”
FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said: “The Modular Sporting Facilities Guide provides clubs with everything they need to know to develop suitable change rooms or clubhouses, canteens and referee rooms.
“The guide outlines Football Queensland’s approved designs, which can assist Local Council Authorities, consultants, building designers and developers in constructing facilities for the state’s largest club-based participation sport.”
Having partnered with FQ for the past two years, Ausco Modular delivers high-specification facilities for clubs around Queensland.
“We are proud to continue our support for the Queensland football community through the release of this important guide,” said Adrian Moffatt, Executive General Manager and General Counsel for Ausco Modular.
“Ausco Modular is known for producing state-of-the-art amenity buildings which are sustainable, delivered quickly and tailored specifically for football by our in-house design team.
“We are excited to collaborate with clubs, zones and Football Queensland on improving football infrastructure throughout the state on an ongoing basis.”
