Football West has signed a two-year partnership with Computing Australia Group.
The deal will focus on providing technology and grant assistance support to the football community in Western Australia through Football West’s Building Stronger Clubs program and community activations.
Computing Australia Group will bring years of experience in the grant applications process and this deal will see them supporting Football West clubs in the process of securing grants.
As Football West’s preferred technology partner, Computing Australia Group will make expert support more accessible to Football West clubs, improving their technology systems and finding innovative solutions to maximise engagement with current and potential members.
According to the statement released by Football West, the partnership will enable clubs to access specialised support to provide, “significant enhancement in web presence which will lead to greater engagement with members and assist with retention of members.”
In the statement, Computing Australia Group CEO Daniel Hutchison said: “The team at CAG is thrilled to build on our long-standing relationship with the team at Football West and now the broader football community through this exciting initiative.”
Computing Australia Group Business Manager Chris Karapetcoff added: “Like Football West, we are totally invested in the Building Stronger Clubs program and I look forward to meeting and working with the many wonderful people involved in football in Western Australia.”
Football West CEO James Curtis said the partnership would provide his association’s clubs with access to greater, specialised support.
“The importance of maximising digital engagement with the football community is becoming more important every year,” he said.
“With Football West and its clubs reaching over 25m people digitally in 2020, we know that this partnership provides a great opportunity for clubs to enhance and increase their membership base.
“Football West is excited to partner with Computing Australia Group for the next two years and provide accessible expert services to Western Australian football clubs.”
