The National Women’s Soccer League and Adobe have joined forces for a multi-year partnership dedicated to uplifting the stories, voices and passions of players and sporting aficionados alike.
The computer software company will be the league’s Official Creativity Partner by bringing together creativity and women’s sports in a distinctive way to further advancing equity and balancing the playing field for all.
Adobe is one of the largest and most varied software companies in the world. The innovations have revolutionised how individuals, teams, businesses and governments become involved in and interact across all media devices.
Adobe will give power to all the athletes competing in the NWSL – through a special Brand Building Workshop, supplying players with accessible entry to Adobe’s creative and digital marketing tools, personal brand training sessions and linking them to experts in the marketing field, to allow the players to evolve their own image and share their stories.
NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman said via press release:
“The remarkable athletes who play in the NWSL are some of the most accomplished soccer players in the world, but the players of the NWSL are more than just athletes, they’re business owners, parents, partners, social activists, community leaders, the list goes on.”
“This partnership with Adobe will help our athletes tell their stories in creative ways and truly showcase the diverse and dynamic individuals who take the pitch each week in our league.”
The multimedia company, headquartered in San Jose, California, will also set in motion Creator Class with the NWSL, a creativity program designated to give a platform for the upcoming women creators with an eagerness for football in the areas of creativity – providing the chance to earn remuneration for projects.
Under the agreement, four Creator Class individuals will be given the opportunity each season for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes entry to NWSL team and league moments, to gain knowledge and be inspired by creativity outside of the game and receive $15,000 AUD to elevate their creative venture using Adobe products and services.
