Sheffield United confirmed that Gtech, a global leader in home technology, is the men’s first team sleeve sponsor for the 2023/24 Premier League season.
The sponsorship symbolises the start of an exciting cooperation between two organisations dedicated to quality, teamwork, and innovation. Gtech and Sheffield United’s collaboration will extend beyond shirt branding. Both organisations are dedicated to programmes that promote education, technology literacy, and youth development, and this partnership builds on Gtech’s strong dedication to sports, community participation, and technical innovation.
Gtech is a British company based in Worcester in the West Midlands, delivering cutting-edge home appliances that excel in performance terms. With a passion for design and a commitment to longevity, Gtech provides products with a 20-year design life and second-to-none customer support services.
“I’m absolutely delighted to join forces with the Blades as their proud sponsor,” Gtech owner Nick Grey said via press release.
“This partnership is a testament to our shared values of pushing boundaries, embracing innovation, and striving for excellence. We believe that our cutting-edge home technology and the blades fanatical support for their club will create a winning combination both on and off the field.”
The newly promoted Premier League side will look to build success on and off the field with their new sponsor, aiming to remain a top flight side for many years.
Paul Reeves, Sheffield United’s head of commercial, reiterated the club’s commitment to high ambition.
“We are excited to welcome Gtech into the Sheffield United commercial portfolio. Gtech are a global leader for high performance home appliances and their dedication to technology development,” he stated via press release.
“This partnership will not only strengthen Gtech’s visibility alongside the club on a global stage but will also enhance the overall fan experience through collaborative initiatives and matchday activities.”
The Gtech brand featured on the shirt sleeve on Sheffield United’s iconic jerseys for the first time on August 27, a fixture against Manchester City.
