The University of Sydney will be hosting The Business and Development of Women’s Football Conference 2023 in a four-day event.
The conference – held from Monday, July 31 to Thursday, August 3 – is sponsored by The University of Sydney, in partnership with Sydney University Sport and Fitness.
It will offer a unique insight into women’s football and its future in global business.
Regarded as one of the prodigious universities in Australia, The University of Sydney is a fitting choice for the event as academics and sporting professionals from around the world will unpack a program that is sure to kick-start discussion on the issues of diversity, access, inclusion, globalisation, commercialisation, the emergence of women’s football and its future.
This is an event that will also be held in amongst the FIFA Women’s World Cup, adding a football-oriented atmosphere with all attendees having the opportunity to meet, greet and network during each of the four days the conference is run – featuring local and international contributors.
The highly-anticipated event will celebrate the rise and place of women in football, particularly as the Matildas push on to do the nation proud.
