Valencia CF have confirmed an agreement with Skoda to renew their partnership with the club for two more seasons. Skoda will continue to serve as Valencia CF’s official vehicle provider and maintain a vital commitment to the club which dates back four seasons.
Skoda’s logo will be on display on the playing and training shorts worn by the men’s first team. In addition to this, it will also have its logo on VCF Mestalla and VCF Femenino.
The agreement also includes a presence in digital and branding assets, as well as activations with the official Skoda dealerships in Valencia.
Skoda was founded as a bicycle firm in 1895, and sports have always been a part of the company’s DNA. They have recent history with La Liga and Spanish clubs, collaborating with the league itself and continuing their long-term partnership with RCD Espanyol.
Layhoon Chan, President of Valencia CF, was pleased at the current state of the partnership and excited about the future.
“We are proud to have Skoda with us on our journey. Since we joined forces in 2019, Skoda have become a key element of the club’s day-to-day life. Their vehicles are synonymous with quality and reliability in the field of mobility,” she said via press release.
“Their commitment to staying at the forefront of technology and an environmentally friendly philosophy are also in line with the standards of innovation and sustainability that we believe in. We are delighted to announce that today we are taking another step forward together.”
Fidel Jiménez de Parga, General Director of Skoda Spain, expressed similar delight with the renewal.
“We are pleased to renew our agreement with Valencia CF, after four years of working together in which our partnership framework has been extended to include the sponsorship of the women’s team. As part of our strategy of having a presence in the sports sector, it is very important for us to continue to be present in the top flight of Spanish football,” he added via media release.
Skoda’s values to improve women’s and grassroots football align with Valencia CF – there is a direct benefit to current fans, and they have great relationships around Spanish football which shows they will continue to be a great, potentially long-term partner of Valencia.
