
Football Victoria has signed a new agreement with Sharp EIT, naming them the official technology and commercial solar partner.
The partnership will elevate the user experience through significant upgrades across Football Victoria’s headquarters, located within the Home of the Matildas at La Trobe University.
Sharp EIT have already implemented upgrades throughout the headquarters, including the installation of new TV screens and digital signage, as well as equipping meeting spaces with modern workplace technology to strengthen collaboration throughout the football community.
In the coming month, a reliable 250kW commercial solar system will be installed, reducing Football Victoria’s energy expenses and turning sustainability goals into a reality.
As part of the partnership, Sharp EIT’s brand will feature on Football Victoria playing kits.
This includes representative teams participating in the Emerging Matildas and Emerging Socceroos Championships, as well as Victorian Para and Futsal teams in national tournaments.
Football Victoria Interim CEO, Dan Birrell spoke on the significance of the partnership in introducing more innovative, eco-conscious solutions to the organisation.
“This partnership is an exciting step forward in our commitment to both sustainability and innovation for our facility and our game,” Birrell said in a press release.
“Sharp EIT’s technology solutions provide integrated, best-in-class solutions and we are excited to further elevate Victorian football with their ongoing support.”
The Business Analyst Lead at Sharp EIT, Nirav Dedhia emphasised the company’s commitment to supporting sporting organisations with their technological and environmental needs.

Sharp EIT has also been announced as the naming rights partner for the Football Victoria Business League.
This role highlights and strengthens Sharp EIT’s commitment to supporting football stakeholders across Victoria.
