
FIFA, Football’s world governing body, and Roblox, the frontrunner metaverse platform which has seen 50 million daily active users, have agreed to a landmark partnership.
The agreement will offer the Roblox community and the football supporters around the world free-to-play use to FIFA World, a virtual reality that honours the influence of football and the rich history of its culmination of past events.
The two organisations will work with each other to produce an exciting new experience immersing themselves in an online community where all football fans worldwide can hang out in social spaces, earn rewards and obtain exclusive items virtually through a variety of diversified skill games and multiple collectors challenges.
The world of FIFA will host a video content event created from FIFA+’s wide range of options on their library, along with amazing in game events, as well as Barcelona and Spanish superstar midfielder Pedri and VfL Wolfsburg and German icon Lena Oberdorf will feature.
Having launched just recently, FIFA World will continue to advance over the period of time and to acknowledge FIFA’s tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand and future tournaments.
