
Socceroos winger Nestory Irankunda has completed a move to Portuguese champions Sporting CP for a reported fee of up to $32 million, making it one of the largest transfers involving an Australian footballer.
Irankunda who most recently played for Watford in the English Championship has signed a 5-year deal with the Portuguese giants.
Following a successful World Cup campaign there were a number of European clubs circling the 20-year-old Australian.
