Football Queensland will host a Future of Football 2020+ Club Summit on Zoom tonight, where North West Queensland clubs are invited.
Headed by Football Queensland CEO Robert Cavallucci, the session serves as a platform for clubs to voice their opinions on shaping the game for the future.
Local clubs who join the session can address various topics and provide feedback on areas including the game’s governance, administration, competitions and affordability.
Club Summits have been held all across the state in the past few months – so far featuring in Cairns, Townsville, Gold Coast, South West Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast, Mackay, Central Queensland and Brisbane.
“The Future of Football 2020+ Club Summits around the state have been extremely successful, and it’s been fantastic to hear the thoughts of our football community as we work together to shape a brighter future for the game,” Cavallucci said.
“So far throughout the first stage of the consultation process, we’ve held 12 Club Summits across Queensland and engaged with hundreds of clubs, coaches, referees and zone administrators.
“We look forward to another productive session this Wednesday with North West Queensland clubs as we welcome their feedback on the future of football in the state.”
The North West Queensland Club Summit will take place on Wednesday, September 9 at 6pm.
