The Global Institute of Sport (GIS) has partnered with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to deliver FutureSport 360.
This 7-week online masterclass is designed for anyone seeking advanced insight into the sports industry.
The program offers 20 hours of expert-led teaching across key disciplines such as sports law, marketing, data analytics and more, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of current research and industry best practice.
Beginning on 15 October, FutureSport 360 features leading guest speakers arranged by GIS to complement the course content across the 7 weeks.
Students will also complete a work-integrated project assessment to earn their micro credential that can count as credit towards an MBA, master’s or graduate certificate at QUT.
This provides students with the exclusive opportunity to join QUT’s annual sports study tour for alumni.
The course is led by Professor Sarah Kelly, Head of QUT’s Graduate School of Business. A respected figure in Australian sport, Professor Kelly is Chair of the Australian Sports Foundation, Deputy Chair of the Brisbane Lions AFL Club and an experienced commercial lawyer.
Her published work spans mega-event legacy, sports sponsorship strategy, governance and integrity, esports, and the commercialisation of women’s sport. She also leads Queensland’s branch of the Minerva Network, which supports professional female athletes.
GIS, a leading destination for global sports education, says FutureSport 360 provides an ideal stepping stone for those considering postgraduate study in sport management or related fields.
Prospective students can find further information and register for the program via the QUT website.
