Ahead of Melbourne Victory’s Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s season, the club has announced Bonza as its new Principal Partner.
The deal, lasting for the next four campaigns, is the biggest of its kind in Victory’s history. The key feature of this will be displaying Bonza’s logo on home and away jerseys, as well as featuring throughout club assets including signage, in-stadia activation and digital.
Bonza is Australia’s newest low-cost airline and has already stamped itself as a major partner in a key agreement for both themselves and Victory.
“We’re incredibly proud to welcome Bonza as our Principal Partner for the next four seasons in what is set to be an exciting time for Melbourne Victory and Bonza’s entry into the Australian aviation market,” Melbourne Victory Managing Director Caroline Carnegie said in a statement.
“Bonza is a bold, innovative brand and we are like minded in our approach to making a statement in our respective industries.
“This partnership will allow both brands to grow on and off the pitch together and underlines our ambitions to grow football and the Melbourne Victory brand.”
Bonza is aiming to launch from its two bases of Melbourne Airport and Sunshine Coast Airport – reaffirming the Victory as a great fit.
“Melbourne is the only capital city on our initial route map and with a big population, we know partnering with Melbourne Victory is a great way to engage with the community here and across Victoria,” Bonza Chief Commercial Officer Carly Povey added via press release.
“Bonza looks forward to flying Melbourne Victory fans, whether they are looking to take a well earned break or visit loved ones, or for those customers wanting to fly to catch a match in Melbourne. We’ll also have some great deals for club members on the Fly Bonza app.”
Destinations on Bonza’s initial route map include Melbourne, Avalon, Sunshine Coast, Mildura, Albury, Cairns, Coffs Harbour, Mackay, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Rockhampton, Tamworth, Townsville, Whitsunday Coast, Bundaberg, Gladstone and Toowoomba.
