Central Coast Mariners and North Construction & Building will continue their long-standing partnership for another year.
North Construction & Building will particularly back women’s football and hope to improve the opportunities and stereotypes for females in the construction industry, bringing this mindset into the Mariners’ women’s football program.
The successful relationship between the Mariners and North Construction & Building started a long time ago when the construction giants were responsible for the construction of the offices that the Mariners find themselves in.
The partnership will ensure the Mariners will be able to continue to upgrade the facilities and resources available to the women’s program, in a critical step towards the club’s entry into the A-League Women’s in 2023/24 and beyond.
In 2020, North Construction & Building committed its services to the Mariners, and for the third year running the Mariners have them on board and supporting the entire women’s program.
North Construction & Building have a strong connection to the Central Coast region, and in addition to their involvement with the Tuggerah Centre of Excellence, they collaborate with many local organisations to improve community outcomes.
North’s Business Development Manager, Kate Forrester, said via press release:
“Having celebrated International Women’s Day earlier last week, it’s very timely and exciting to support the female contingent within the Mariners again this year. North is passionate about being part of our local community as well as contributing to the advancement and equity of women across the board, so our involvement here is a perfect fit for the business.”
Thanks to renewed partnerships such as these over the last few years, this has opened up several doors of opportunity in the women’s game and with the A-league changing guidelines for clubs to enter the Women’s league from 2023/24 onwards, it will be massive for the women’s game.
