Paramount Australia and New Zealand have announced a brand-new entertainment partnership with Qantas.
The partnership will see Qantas customers able to access a super-sized pipeline of premium content from Paramount+, which includes Australian football content such as the A-Leagues, Socceroos, and Matildas games.
The partnership, which commences in August, will see a variety of entertainment and sports made available via a dedicated Paramount+ category within Qantas’ In-Flight Entertainment platform.
The entertainment platform includes wired in-seat services, Qantas-supplied devices and the Qantas Entertainment App, available to customers on domestic and international Qantas flights.
Liz Baldwin, SVP head of streaming, Paramount ANZ, said in a statement:
“Paramount+ is the home of the biggest names in entertainment, exclusive premium content and the most unique stories.
“Making this must-see content available to Qantas customers across the In-Flight Entertainment services with a dedicated Paramount+ category, is fabulous for travellers and further cements Paramount+ as a powerful player in streaming delivering an exceptional consumer entertainment experience.”
Qantas chief customer officer Stephanie Tully added via media release:
“One of the most enjoyable inflight experiences is choosing what movie or show to watch. Our Frequent Flyers tell us that catching up on the latest movies or working their way through a box set on board is one of their most enjoyable inflight experiences.
“As many parents will attest, it’s also helpful for keeping little ones entertained.”
