Football West has teamed up Seven West Media’s online service Streamer, in a new broadcasting arrangement.
Streamer is set to show over 500 matches live and free from Western Australia, with all the key leagues covered including every game from the NPLWA – Men’s, NPLWA – Women’s, NPLWA – Men’s U20s and Men’s State League Division One competitions, plus selected Australia Cup, State Cup and Top Four Cup games.
As Australia’s premier community sport platform, Streamer is home to a wide array of sports and puts grassroots at heart with dedicated tools for the community to watch, engage with and create unique content. No moments will be missed which goes beyond the 90 minutes, where highlights and training can also be shed in a positive light.
Football West CEO Jamie Harnwell said via press release:
“It is exciting for Football West to team up with Seven West Media through Streamer and it will make it even easier for supporters to access our matches,” he said.
“Over the past few years Streamer has built up a strong reputation in WA sport and Football West is looking forward to giving even more West Australian sports fans the opportunity to view our competitions.”
Streamer Operations Manager Nick Rynne added via press release:
“Football West are an organisation we’ve been keen to work with for some time, so to bring the four competitions across to Streamer is something we are really excited about,” he said.
“With our innovative delivery methods and the digital fan pass program, we can’t wait to help the WA football community get even more engaged with their content both on and off the pitch.”
The deal between an online streamer and state federation is another significant milestone for the growth of National Premier Leagues, and in turn giving everyone the chance to shine on the big stage.
