Football Australia has unveiled a new broadcast plan for the Hahn Australia Cup 2025 that will change how fans across the country tune in to the nation’s top knockout tournament.
Under the new setup, Football Australia will handle the broadcast production from the Playoffs through to the Quarter Finals. Then, Paramount Australia will take over for the Semi-Finals and the Final.
This change means more fans will be able to watch the Final Rounds, with select matches being shown live and free for the first time on both Football Australia’s YouTube channel and 10Play.
Paramount+ will continue to offer exclusive coverage, now featuring a studio host and around-the-grounds updates with all the night’s goals and big moments.
Victorian fans have plenty to cheer for, with A-League clubs Melbourne City, Melbourne Victory, and Western United in the mix, alongside strong NPLM sides Avondale FC, Heidelberg United, and South Melbourne – plus underdog VPL2 club Nunawading City.
Paramount Australia will also create a special Hahn Australia Cup Preview Show before each round, which will air on Paramount+, 10Bold, and 10Play.
Football Australia’s Interim Chief Executive Officer, Heather Garriock welcomed the changes to broadcast for the 2025 edition of the tournament.
“This enhanced broadcast approach strengthens the visibility and reach of the Hahn Australia Cup, giving fans more opportunities to watch and engage with a competition that has provided so many special moments over the years,” Garriock said in a press release.
“Paramount’s expanded support, combined with the strategic use of our own digital platforms and key production partners, marks a positive evolution for the tournament and aligns with our broader ambition to elevate football’s presence across the Australian sporting landscape.
“By increasing our broadcast footprint to include free access to select matches via Football Australia’s YouTube channel we’re ensuring more Australians can follow the journey of their local clubs on a national stage.”
These exciting changes signal a new era for the Hahn Australia Cup, making the competition more accessible than ever and further uniting fans around the country through the power of football.
