Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) have confirmed that Wednesday morning’s Socceroos versus France match in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be broadcast live across all stations throughout Australia.
The match, airing from 5.50am Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT), will be the first sporting event to be broadcast live across all 40 SEN radio and digital stations in the country.
SEN’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 broadcast will be headlined by media presenter Jordan Kounelis and Socceroos legend, Archie Thompson.
Along with Thompson and Kounelis, the SEN audience will be expertly guided through each moment of the 64-match, 29-day tournament by industry veterans Simon Hill and Dan McHardy.
In addition, Richard Garcia, Adam Kwasnik, Rodrigo Vargas, Clint Bolton and David Chote will provide all the insights and analysis from the player’s perspective.
Sports Entertainment Network CEO Craig Hutchison explained broadcasting the match across every station reinforced SEN as the leading destination for live sport and analysis. “The World Cup is one of those events that captivates the entire nation, and it made sense for us to dedicate the entire SEN network to this match. No matter where you are throughout Australia, you can cheer on the Socceroos with SEN and enjoy every moment of the action live,” he said via press release. The Socceroos kick off their campaign with a 6am AEDT kick off against France, before taking on Tunisia and Denmark at 9pm and 2am respectively.
