Real Madrid has officially partnered with world-renowned French fashion house Louis Vuitton, announcing on Friday a new agreement that will see the luxury brand outfit the club’s men’s and women’s football teams, as well as its basketball squad, for all official events and travel.
The details of the deal have not been released publicly yet but it is believed to be a lucrative multi-year partnership.
The collaboration will be launched publicly during the team’s upcoming trip to the United States for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The exclusive Louis Vuitton collection includes tailored suits, shoes, accessories, and travel essentials, blending classic style with high-performance materials.
The designs were recently revealed in a high-profile shoot featuring Real Madrid stars such as Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, Vinícius Júnior, Thibaut Courtois, and Dani Carvajal.
This partnership reflects Louis Vuitton’s continued expansion into the world of elite sport, adding to its existing collaborations with global athletes like tennis star Carlos Alcaraz as well as its ties to Formula 1 and the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Pietro Beccari, Louis Vuitton CEO spoke about this partnership helping Real Madrid reach new heights of excellence.
“We are proud to support a club whose history is marked by countless victories and which continues to inspire generations. Louis Vuitton and Real Madrid share values that have driven them to the top of their respective disciplines, propelled by a relentless pursuit of excellence, a spirit of innovation and self-improvement,” Beccari said in a press release.
Emilio Butragueño, Real Madrid Director of Football echoed the importance of this partnership in terms of legacy.
“At Real Madrid, we regard excellence as the essential way to stay at the top. The same philosophy defines a brand as iconic in the fashion industry as Louis Vuitton. We have both succeeded in transcending time, and not only share the responsibility to build a lasting legacy, but also to inspire the world beyond our respective industries,” he said in a club press release.
The partnership with Louis Vuitton reinforces Real Madrid’s status as a global lifestyle brand, blending football excellence with high fashion.
It not only elevates the club’s image off the pitch but also signals a continued push into luxury and global prestige ahead of major international events like the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
