Speaking on the partnership Todd Wilson, PNC regional president for Greater Los Angeles, said via press release:

The partnership will see:
- 10% of PNC bank’s sponsorship investment will be directed to an ACFC-created fund that will provide grants to retired National Women’s Soccer League players who want to start or grow social enterprises and businesses. These efforts will help the Player 22 Fund, which ACFC established previously.
- Provided by PNC’s corporate & institutional banking’s organisational financial wellness program, Angel City players will have access to financial education, resources, workshops, and much more.
- Several forums and programs will address opportunities and challenges facing women who own, operate, or lead businesses.
Angel City FC President and Co-Founder Julie Uhrman added via press release:
“PNC Bank’s dedication to support women financial decision makers and to helping close the economic gender gap is completely aligned with Angel City’s desire to close the pay gap for women’s soccer,” he said.
“From day one, ACFC has supported women-owned businesses through our impact and partnership. We can’t wait to collaborate with PNC Bank and drive toward pay equity together.”
Overall the partnership will bring together two massive organisations in the greater Los Angeles community that support women’s sport and businesses via numerous programs and forums, enabling the organisations to have a massive positive impact throughout the city of Los Angeles and beyond.
