Football West has secured the support of Hyundai for grassroots football going forward.
As the new Official Partner of Women’s Football, Hyundai will now hold naming rights of the Hyundai Women’s State League, the Hyundai Women’s Amateur League and the Hyundai Women’s Metro League.
This is in addition to Hyundai’s already established naming rights involvement of Football West’s elite talent programs such as the Hyundai NTC for Girls, Hyundai TSP and Hyundai SAP.
Hyundai is also providing grassroots clubs the opportunity to raise funds through the 2022 Hyundai Community Football Raffle. WA Clubs and associations retain 100% of funds raised from ticket sales – last year almost $190,000 was retained by clubs from ticket sales.
Incoming Football West CEO Jamie Harnwell:
“Hyundai is a fantastic supporter of football in Western Australia, and we are delighted they have become the Official Partner of Women’s Football,” he said.
“Best of all it all kicks off this Sunday with the Women’s Night Series triple-header at Floreat Athena’s E&D Litis Stadium.”
The news comes following the completion of three matches on Sunday, March 27.
The Hyundai Women’s Amateur League Night Series final kicked off at 1.30pm between Hamersley Rovers and Subiaco.
This was followed by the Hyundai Women’s State League final between Hyundai NTC and UWA Nedlands (4pm).
The last game of the night was the NPLWA – Women’s Night Series final, with Balcatta Etna taking on Northern Redbacks (6.30pm).
The three matches were live streamed through Cluch on NPL.TV. The Women’s Amateur League Night Series final also had airtime on Football West’s Facebook and YouTube platforms.
